Lesson 1: What is your reason for writing?
The question is simple, one that humans have been asking for a long time, in various circumstances: Why are you here? In this case, it means, why do you write/want to write? For pleasure? For enrichment, either of yourself or others? To help you think of the answer to that question, I will tell you my own reasons for writing. First, it is fun for me. Second, God gave me this gift, and certainly has a purpose for me, and, as I can't know His mind, I do the best I can when I write, and write good, clean stuff. So we come back to you, and to the assignment.
Assignment:Write a paragraph (or more, if you like) about your purpose in writing, and--
Optional Assignment: --Discuss with your teacher or private tutor the subject of this lesson.
